Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Account can be created from Aarogya Setu app

Creating an Ayushman Bharat health account has now been simplified by the government. You can create an Ayushman Bharat health account using the Aarogya Setu app. Apart from this, the National Health Authority, the nodal agency of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, has announced the integration of both. About 21.4 crore users are active on the Aarogya Setu app who will be able to generate their Ayushman Bharat health account number. This number will be of 14 digits. Users can link their old and new medical records with this number. All these records will be shared with registered health professional and health service provider.

The complete medical history of the citizen will be available on this account. The method of opening this account is very simple. At the time of registration, the user can authenticate through his Aadhaar number due to which information like name, date of birth, gender and address will be fetched. If you do not want to create Ayushman Bharat health account through Aadhaar, then you can also open this account using driving license or mobile number. Doctor’s prescription, lab reports, hospital records etc. can be saved in this account.

Permission to accessed Medical history

All records can be accessed from anywhere. Your doctor will have to tell you this ID to tell you the complete medical history. Through this ID, your doctor will be able to see your record. OTP will be required to access the information of any health care centre or doctor which means that no one else will be able to access your medical data without your permission. You can also download your Ayushman Bharat Health Account Card. This card has a QR code which can be scanned and all the records can be viewed after OTP verification. Apart from this, this card has also included many other information including demographic location, family. In this card, the complete details of the patient can be stored in a way.

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Reviewed

Components of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

Health ID

A Health ID Card will be provided to the citizens under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Through this ID, individuals will be identified and authenticated and their health reports will be sent to many systems and stakeholders. Some basic details of citizenship will be collected to generate this ID.

Health Professional Registry
