What is Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana 2023?

The Bihar government launched the Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana 2023 to boost fisheries and raise the income of the farmers of the state. The farmers will get grant money under this scheme to build ponds for fish farming. The Department of Animal and Fisheries Resources is carrying out the scheme.Under this scheme, the Bihar government would award grants based on the number of acres possessed by the farmers. As such, the government would provide a subsidy of 80%, or Rs 16.70 lakh per acre for pond construction whereby the beneficiary must possess either his own land or land under lease.

What is the Objective of Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana 2023?

The main objective of the Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana launched by the Bihar government is to encourage fish farming by constructing ponds and establishing related units in all plateau-dominated districts of the state. The government will give a grant through this scheme to the state’s farmers so they may build fish farming ponds. Every interested farmer in the state who wishes to work in fishing can submit an online application.

Benefits and features of Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana

• Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana has been started by the Government of Bihar.
• The government would pay a subsidy of Rs 16.70 lakh to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe fish farmers under this scheme in order to build ponds.
• Through this scheme, the Bihar government would pay benefits based on acres.
• By building ponds and establishing related auxiliary units, the state’s plateau-dominated area will enhance fishing.
• There are different 5 components that make up the plan as a whole whereby one component has a maximum size of 1 acre and a minimum size of 0.5 acres.
• One acre of land can be used to build a pond, as well as a solar pump set, tubewell, advanced input, and a shed.
• Ponds will be built in South Bihar’s plateau-dominated districts, including Banka, Gaya, Aurangabad, Kaimur, Jamui, Nawada, Munger, and Rohtak.

Selection Procedure of beneficiaries under Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana

• Beneficiaries under this scheme will be chosen by a committee under the direction of the Deputy Director of Fisheries.
• They must have own or leased land in order to qualify.
• For the private owner of the pond, it is necessary to have a landowner certificate or an updated Malguzari receipt, the minimum 9 years of agreement on the judicial stamp in its land.

Eligibility for Bihar Talab Nirman Yojana

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• This scheme only accepts applications from fish farmers who are belongs to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
• Farmers must either possess own land or leased land for construction of pond.

• After this the home page of the website will open in front of you.
• On the home page, you have to click on the option of application for fisheries schemes and click on the option of Register for application in fisheries schemes.
• On clicking, the registration form will open in front of you.
• Now you have to carefully enter the required information sought in this form.
• After entering personal details like, permanent address, bank account details etc. you will have to enter your mobile number.
• After this you have to click on the option of Send OTP.
• An OTP will come on your registered mobile number. Which you have to enter in the OTP box.
• Now you have to click on the option of Submit.
