Gujarat Vahli Dikhri Yojana 2023 is a scheme launched by the Gujarat government with an aim of empowering the girl child and improving the girl sex ratio in the state. Under the scheme, the government will provide financial support to the families having a girl child.  Under this scheme, the first and second girl child of a family will get Rs 1 lakh when they reach the age of 18 years for their wedding or higher education. The financial assistance will be provided in three instalments. Apart from financial assistance, the government also focuses on the education and health of the girl child under the scheme. The scheme also provide scholarship during their education.

• Beneficiaries will get Rs 6000 in the second enrollment in class 9. 

Eligibility Criteria of Vahli Dikri Yojana of Gujarat

• The family of the girl child must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• This scheme is applicable for the first two girl children of the family.
• The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs 2 lakh
