PM Awas Yojana New list 2023: Check your name

Any beneficiary can search his name under this PM Awas Yojana scheme only with the help of Aadhar card. To do so, first the beneficiary have to go to the official website https://pmaymis.gov.in. Under PMAY List 2022, only those families who fulfilled the eligibility criteria of this scheme have been included. After verifying all such families, the central government makes the list available from time to time on the official website. The purpose of making the housing scheme list available online is to increase transparency between the government and the people and speed up the implementation of the scheme.

On 26 May 2022, under Light House Project (Chennai) 1152 houses were built and was inaugurated by our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The estimate cost was Rs. 116 crores. Precast concrete construction system is used under this project. The Light House project was launched on 1st January at 6 locations across the country. All these projects were monitored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself through drones.

Progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana so far

As you all know, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is run by the central government with the aim of providing house to every citizens of India. Through this scheme, the benefit of subsidy is provided to the beneficiaries by the government so that poor, low and middle income group citizens can buy their own house. Through this scheme, a subsidy of up to Rs 2.67 lakh is provided by the government for the construction of the house. Till now 1.29 crore houses have been constructed through this PM Awas Yojana.

In the first phase of this scheme, a target of constructing about 1 crore pucca houses was set under which 91.22 lakh pucca houses were built. The total cost was Rs 1.13 lakh crores.

In the second phase of this scheme, a target of constructing 1.23 crore pucca houses was set under which 91.93 lakh pucca houses were built. Rs. 72000 crores were spent to build these houses.

So far, the government has set a target of constructing 2.23 crore houses by combining both the phases under which 1.83 crore houses have been built under the scheme.

Purpose of PM Urban Awas Yojana

The main objective of PM Awas Yojana is to provide a pucca house by the government to the urban poor people of the country who do not have a pucca house to live in or are homeless. First, a target has been set to construct 2 crore pucca houses for the poor section by March 2022. The government is trying to build pucca houses in select cities. The houses which have to be provided under this scheme shall be owned jointly with an adult female member or males.

PM Awas Yojana List: Announcements related to PMAY under the budget 2022-23

While announcing the budget for the year 2022 on 1 February 2022, this information was provided by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that the construction of 80 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be completed by the year 2022-23. For this, an amount of Rs 48000 crores has been approved by the government. Finance Minister further informed that both the Central and State Governments will implement this scheme jointly to make this scheme successful.

Under this scheme, all the states will be encouraged to adopt the Unique Land Parcel Identification Number so that all the records can be managed better. Land Records will be translated into 8 languages.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana List 2022 – Interest rates

Beneficiaries whose names included in the Awas Yojana List will be provided subsidy by the Central Government at interest rates ranging from 2.35 lakh to 2.50 lakh on buying their own house for the first time. Under the scheme for economically weaker sections and low income groups, loans up to 6 lakh will be made available for a period of 20 years and under PMAY List, 6.50 percent i.e. 2.67 lakh subsidy will be made available on the loan due. Interest subsidy of 4 percent and 3 percent on 20 years loan will be provided to MIG 1 and MIG 2 group individuals. Altogether, MIG 1 and MIG 2 are providing subsidies of 2.35 lakhs and 2.30 lakhs to the group.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana List Final Phase

PM Awas Yojana Scheme has now reached its final stage. By 2022, now all citizens will have their own pucca house in which there will be toilet, cooking gas connection, drinking water and electricity connection. So far 1.29 crore houses have been built under the Awas Yojana List. More than 94 lakh pucca houses will be built in the coming two years. In the first phase of this scheme, a target of constructing about 1 crore pucca houses was set under which 91.22 lakh pucca houses were built with a total estimate cost of Rs 1.13 lakh crores.

In the second phase of the housing scheme, a target of constructing 1.23 crore pucca houses was set under which 91.93 lakh houses have been built with a total cost of Rs 72000 crores.

By combining these two phases, a target of constructing about 2.23 crore houses has been set so far. In contrast, a total of 1.83 crore houses have been built. All types of facilities are available in these houses such as toilets under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and MGNREGA, tap connection for drinking water supply to every house under Jal Jeevan Mission, free electricity connection under Saubhagya scheme and all houses under Ujjwala scheme. PM Awas Yojana 2023 Geo Tagging

Under PM Awas Yojana, the facility of geo tagging will be made available for which a special campaign will be run by the government. Collector Ravindra Kumar Chaudhary has told that all the complaints which are registered on the CM helpline will be resolved by November 30. It is also being ensured by the collector that the process of Aadhar seeding should also be completed at the earliest. The Collector has given instructions to complete the Aadhaar seeding of all the beneficiaries in 3 days. Strict action will be taken against all those PCOs and Secretaries who will be negligent in the work of seeding Aadhaar.

1. During the updating on the portal in the month of August and October, the names of some beneficiaries have been deleted due to non-completion of documents.
2. All those beneficiaries who have not uploaded their complete documents should upload the complete documents as soon as possible.
3. Documents should be verified by the officials and the benefits of the scheme should be provided. The collector has issued instructions to all the ward secretaries and urban bodies that this work should be completed at the earliest.

Income Category Under PM Awas Yojana List

Loans are given to three categories of people under the housing scheme. This category is determined on the basis of the annual income of the people. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, loans are given to the economically weaker section, low income group and middle income group people. So let us know how much income of people belong in these categories.

1. Economic Weaker Section: All those people whose annual income is Rs 300000 or less. Under the Awas Yojana List, loans are provided to the people of the economically weaker sections.
2. Low Income Group: All those people whose annual income is between Rs 300000 to Rs 600000.
3. Middle Income Group: All those people whose annual income is between Rs 600000 to Rs 1800000.

Development done under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

1.      1.20 crore jobs have been generated through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The demand in the market has increased through this scheme.

2.      17.7 million Metric tonnes of cement has been consumed under this scheme.

3.      13 million metric tonnes of steel has been consumed
