The Central Government launched the Invitation portal with the primary goal of giving the citizens the ability to purchase online tickets for the parade that will be conducted on Republic Day and Independence Day so that any citizen may easily book tickets online from the comfort of their home. - Through the invitation portal, citizens of the country can order tickets from their homes to attend the parade on Republic Day and Independence Day.
- A QR code will be installed to ensure the security of the digital ticket.
- The country’s citizen can reserve his ticket by staying anyplace using this portal.
- If you’d like, you may also reserve ten tickets using a single mobile number.

How to buy/book ticket online on Aamantran Portal for Republic Day and Independence Day?
- To book tickets online, first of all, you have to visit the official website of the invitation portal.
- After this, the home page of the website will open in front of you.
- On the home page, you have to click the option Don’t have an Account? Sign Up for Buying Tickets.
- On clicking, a new page will open in front of you.
- Now you have to enter all the information like Name, Father/Husband Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Permanent Address, and Captcha Code.
- After entering all the information, you have to click on the option of Register.
- Now, OTP will come on your mobile number.
- You have to enter your mobile number and captcha code on the home page and click on the option of Request OTP.
- After this, you will have to login by entering the OTP number.
- After login, a new page will open in front of you.
- Now, you have to select the event and upload the ticket type, date of birth, full name, mobile number, email ID, address, one ID proof, and photo ID proof.
- If you want to book more than one ticket, you can book more tickets by clicking on the plus + option.
- Finally, you have to click on the option of Process to Payment.
- Thus you can easily book tickets online on the Aamantan portal.
Where to watch livestream of the Republic Day Parade 2023?
In case you don’t want to physically attend the Republic day, you can also enjoy the free live stream and broadcast of the event at your home. The live streams will be freely available through a number of sites. People can see the lavish celebrations of the event by going to the official website, https://indianrdc.mod.gov.in/. The event will also be broadcast live by Doordarshan and the Press Bureau of India.
Free metro ride for Republic day parade digital ticket holders
As per a senior government official, online purchases of Republic Day electronic tickets “would have a QR code,” and these could be shown at metro stations to “get a token for free metro rides to the stations close the event.” The Udyog Bhawan and Central Secretariat metro stations are closest to the Kartavya Path, where the Republic day event is being held on January 26.
