The Government of Himachal Pradesh has launched a scheme called the Swarna Jayanti Vidyarthi Anushikshan Yojana especially for the student’s studying in the government schools of Himachal Pradesh. On 5 September 2021, the government of Himachal Pradesh has launched this Golden Jubilee Training Scheme. Under this scheme, free coaching for NEET and JEE entrance examination will be given to the students studying in government schools. Through this scheme, only the students of class 9th to 12th get the benefits. The parents will not have to pay a huge amount to get their children for admission in coaching institutes for medical and engineering. Online coaching will be provided on Saturday and Sunday and study materials will also be made available on the Har Ghar Pathshala portal of the government.

The main objective of Swarna Jayanti Anushikshan yojana is to provide free coaching classes for NEET and JEE entrance examination to the students studying in government schools. Under the Golden Jubilee Training Scheme, more students will be able to get the chances to clear the NEEt and JEE examination. Moreover, the burden of being financial weak for the parents to send their children for coaching classes for NEET and JEE will be over.
Benefits and Features of Golden Jubilee Student Coaching Scheme
- Swarna Jayanti Anushikshan Yojana 2023 was launched by the Government of Himachal Pradesh on 5 September 2021.
- Through this scheme, free coaching of NEET and JEE will be provided to the children studying in government schools of the state to get admission in medical and engineering colleges.
- Students studying in class 9 to 12 are eligible to get the benefits of this scheme.
- The coaching classes will be provided in free of cost.
